Entrepreneur Interview

Goal:To interview an entrepreneur and explore their motives, successes and losses. Find out what drives the entrepreneur, what frustrates them, what challenges them, what would they do differently. Get to know your entrepreneur!

Interview an entrepreneur of your choice who is currently in business. Please provide their name, company name, address and phone number. If not provided, I will receive a 0 for assignment.

Before interviewing your entrepreneur, try to do some research on their company and industry. This research will make the interview much more relevant and allow you to formulate better questions and learn more.

Teacher has provided suggested questions, but take the time to rework these to fit your entrepreneur. I really don’t want you to just use these questions. And if you do, your grade will reflect the use only of these questions. You are to truly interview your entrepreneur and thus must show that there were follow up questions . Do not just send your person a list of questions and present their answers only. If you do so, your grade will reflect your lack of looking deeper and truly interviewing your entrepreneur.

Use your intuition and knowledge of the entrepreneur to explore. This is so very important! Be creative, follow the entrepreneur’s lead as well.

Adapt your questions, as your entrepreneur may just be getting started or have been in business for many years.I need to write 3-4 pages long paper with an interview of any entrepreneur, exploring his/her motives, successes and losses.
