As for your Final Project, it is a 2-3 page interview (or personal profile) with a subject of your choice. You may start by asking standard biographical questions, but ideally you should lead the way to more provocative ones. The profile should ultimately add up to a 3-dimensional portrayal of the person you are interviewing, focused on issues like your subject’s thoughts on a range of topics like the value of education, the importance of career goals, insights on love, marriage, and parenthood. Make sure you have your subject’s permission to be quoted and do NOT bully him or her. You want to conduct an ETHICAL interview.
You needn’t cover ALL these topics, but the more facets of your subject’s opinions and personality you include, the better.
