Film Analysis 1
For your first researched film analysis assignment, you will be responding to the question of “choice” presented in the film Spider-Mew: Into the Spider-Verse. Determine what the film has to say about that topic, then tell me how you respond to that idea, and what your outside sources have to say about the issue, before tying everything together into a cohesive written statement.
This paper must be 5 total pages of content in length. Be persuasive, and be sure to cover at least one opposing argument with a substantive rebuttal. You will be required to use an appropriate research format, however this first film analysis will NOT be graded on how closely you abide by that standard. You may select from either MLA or APA standards, but you must be consistent throughout the paper, including an appropriate bibliography page. You need to use at least three sources to make your argument. There is no upper limit to your sources. If you have experience, cited summarization or paraphrasing from sources is encouraged, as opposed to simple direct quoting. As always, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and mechanics will be a significant part of your grade.
