Champion, which they use to support their respective thesis. Explain why one author\u0092s pathos example is more persuasive than the other, and why it contributes to the overall persuasiveness of their essay.<\/p>\n<p>Third Paragraph: Compare, using at least two grammatically-integrated direct quotes from the texts as your evidence, the persuasiveness of two ethos examples (personal expertise and\/or connection to topic; other experts\u0092 opinions and evidence about topic): one from Stephen Collis and one from C.P. Champion, which they use to support their respective thesis. Explain why one author\u0092s ethos example is more persuasive than the other, and why it contributes to the overall persuasiveness of their essay.<\/p>\n<p>Conclusion: Topic Sentence; restate thesis in concluding language; briefly summarize the points you made in your body paragraphs; concluding sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Formatting Guidelines: 1. Write 5 complete paragraphs for a total of 750-1000 words. 2. Identify the title of texts and authors by their full name in your introduction paragraph. Put<\/p>\n<p>the texts\u0092 titles in quotation marks. Subsequently, you do not have to refer to the full title, and you can refer to the author by their last name only.<\/p>\n<p>3. Give accurate examples in the form of direct quotes from your chosen essay to clearly and directly support your claims.<\/p>\n<p>4. Integrate your quotes grammatically into your sentence structure. 5. Provide in-text citations that are correctly formatted according to your chosen citation style. 6. Format your document correctly according to your chosen citation style (APA, MLA, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Grading Consideration: \u0095 Formatting and instructions are followed correctly. \u0095 Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure\/syntax are correct and coherent. \u0095 Use an academic, formal, grammatically-correct style of writing. \u0095 Follow the essay writing conventions we have used in our assignments.
