Based on what you\u2019ve learned in class, consider the following:<\/p>\n<p>How will you determine whether positions are exempt or non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act?<br \/>\nWill you utilize independent contractors (aka contingent workers) in your organization? If so, how and why? If not, why not?<br \/>\nWhere do you expect your organization should fall on the spectrum between an entitlement philosophy and a pay-for-performance philosophy? Why?<br \/>\nHow will you determine how to position your organization within the competitive labor market (e.g. lead, match, or lag the market)?<\/p>\n<p>Write an initial post that addresses this in detail, using research content to support your answers.<br \/>\nUse in-text citations to show where you are applying or discussing content from your textbook. In addition, be sure to cite where you are applying or discussing content from external research that you decide to use, if any. (External sources are not required, but are likely to help your grade.) End your post\u00a0with a References list that gives the full details about the sources.
