In this paper, choose a theory and compare it against each of the following three theories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT)<\/li>\n<li>Solution-focused<\/li>\n<li>Psychoanalysis<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Choose a theory that you have studied in this course. Do not choose one of the three theories listed above.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Compare your selected theory against the three theories listed above.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Write a 1,500-2,000-word paper discussing your theory comparisons. Include the following in your paper:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 1: Selected Theory<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Founding theorist(s) for the selected theory<\/li>\n<li>Standard interventions for the selected theory<\/li>\n<li>At least three main concepts of the selected theory<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Part 2: Cognitive Behavior Theory (CBT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Founding theorist(s) for CBT<\/li>\n<li>Standard interventions for CBT<\/li>\n<li>Similarities and differences between your selected theory and CBT<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Part 3: Solution-Focused Theory<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Founding theorist(s) for solution-focused theory<\/li>\n<li>Standard interventions for solution-focused theory<\/li>\n<li>Similarities and differences between your selected theory and solution-focused theory<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Part 4: Psychoanalysis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Founding theorist(s) for psychoanalysis<\/li>\n<li>Standard interventions for psychoanalysis<\/li>\n<li>Similarities and differences between your selected theory and psychoanalysis<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Include at least three scholarly references in your paper in addition to the course textbook.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You are required to submit this assignment to Turnitin.
