The patient states his back pain is worse when he sits down for too long. He has tried to put a heating pad and it does not help. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Complete the PATHOPHYSIOLOGY section (about 1.5-2 pages). Write about the pathophysiology of muscle strain of the lower back 2. Next, complete the PLAN section- this should be about 1 page or less and should include 3 differential diagnoses. Write about the herniated disk, back sprain, sciatica.
