The essay has to be comparative in nature and between the two texts : The Twin from Oliver Sacks\u2019s book, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Jorge Luis Borges\u2019s story \u2019Funes the Memories\u2019 . The essay must cover the following:- Compare and contrast the literary and medical representations of cases of prodigious memory in Borges and Sacks.- \u2019To value forgetting instead of vilifying it is to recognize that the forgetting of many details of daily life is not only practically useful \u2013 in order to become less distracted and preoccupied \u2013 but, in fact, necessary to our well-being\u2019. Assess the significance of this statement in relation to Borges\u2019s \u2019Funes the Memorious\u2019-\u2019The extreme totalisation of perception, whether of sight or memory, would produce prodigious, though pathologically limited individuals trapped in their abnormal sensory and cognitive faculties\u2019.
