As an advanced practice nurse caring for these patients, you must be able<br \/>\nto recognize red flags and select age-appropriate assessment and treatment options. In this Assignment, you prepare for your role in clinical settings as you design an<br \/>\nage-specific protocol for the diagnosis, management, and follow-up care for a common growth and development or psychosocial issue. The topic for the protocol paper is<br \/>\n******Illiteracy******. Keep in mind that in addition to the topic you selected, you must also select which age group you will address. In this Assignment, you will<br \/>\ndesign an age-specific protocol for the diagnosis, management, and follow-up care for a common growth and development or psychosocial issue. As you reflect on your<br \/>\ntopic and assignment requirements, I want to remind you of a few pointers. As listed in the assignment requirements: \u2022 Reflect on the age group and the growth and<br \/>\ndevelopment or psychosocial issue that you selected in Week 2. \u2022 Think about the epidemiology of the issue. \u2022 Consider an age-appropriate protocol for the diagnosis,<br \/>\nmanagement, and follow-up care of the issue you selected. \u2022 Think about how culture might impact the care of patients that present with this issue. Address only the<br \/>\nrequirements as indicated in the assignment. If there are any uncertainties or questions, please reach out sooner than later. I want to make sure everyone is clear on<br \/>\nthe assignment expectations and that all of your questions are answered.
