The final version of<br \/>\nyour proposal is due in Unit 8 (See Unit 8 for more information).<br \/>\nFor this Unit 6 assignment you will submit Part One of your proposal, detailing a health problem that is<br \/>\nprevalent within your selected group and demonstrating your research of health promotion strategies for<br \/>\naddressing this specific health problem.<br \/>\nDirections<br \/>\n1. Describe the health problem.<br \/>\n\u2022 Using data and statistics, support your claim that the issue you selected is a<br \/>\nproblem.<br \/>\n\u2022 What specifically will you address in your proposed health promotion program?<br \/>\n\u2022 Be sure your proposed outcome is realistic and measureable.<br \/>\n2. Describe the vulnerable population and setting.<br \/>\n\u2022 What are the risk factors that make this a vulnerable population?<br \/>\n\u2022 Use evidence to support the risk factors you have identified.<br \/>\n3. Provide a review of literature from scholarly journals of evidence-based interventions<br \/>\nthat address the problem.<br \/>\n\u2022 After completing a library search related to effective interventions for your chosen<br \/>\nhealth promotion activity, write a review that evaluates the strengths and<br \/>\nweaknesses of all the sources you have found.<br \/>\n\u2022 You might consult research texts for information on how to write a review of the<br \/>\nliterature found in your search.<br \/>\n4.
