(I.e. cost, planning, designing, equipment, installation,<br \/>\ntraining, etc)<br \/>\n4) How does your chosen business use IT? (internally such as employees, and externally such as customers, suppliers)<br \/>\n5) What benefits and advantages does IT bring to your chosen business? (I.e. revenue, flexibility, reduces cost, etc.)<br \/>\n6) What type of risks does IT bring to your chosen business? (i.e. security, privacy, confidentiality)<br \/>\n7) How can your chosen business maintain and monitor IT?<\/p>\n<p>Your report will be assessed on the quality of your research and report presentation. Discussion must be relevant to your chosen business. Your report is to be in the style of a business report. There is a limit of ten pages excluding appendices. Reference sources must be cited in the text of the report, and listed appropriately at the end in a reference list using Harvard referencing style.<\/p>\n<p>You can choose a business from any of the following industries:<br \/>\nHealthcare<br \/>\nFood processing<br \/>\nBanking and finance<br \/>\nTelecommunications<br \/>\nLibrary<br \/>\nTransport<br \/>\nAirlines<br \/>\nPrinting and publishing<br \/>\nMedia<br \/>\nComputer gaming<br \/>\ntourism<br \/>\nExamples:<br \/>\nTrip Advisor \u2013https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com.au\/<br \/>\nTelstra \u2014 https:\/\/www.telstra.com.au\/<br \/>\nCommonwealth Bank of Australia \u2014 https:\/\/www.commbank.com.au\/<br \/>\nQantas \u2014 https:\/\/www.qantas.com\/au\/en.html<\/p>\n<p>Marking criteria<br \/>\n1. Introduction:<br \/>\nClear statement of purpose, clarity of methods and assumptions; systematic<br \/>\napproach to project.<br \/>\n2. Use of resources:<br \/>\nApplication of relevant course concepts, tools and frameworks use of evidences,<br \/>\nengagement with the literature.<br \/>\n3. Content:<br \/>\nBalanced coverage of each of the important points,<br \/>\nRichness of analysis;<br \/>\nFlow of ideas;<br \/>\nValidity of objectives,<br \/>\nUse of own insight and originality;<br \/>\nFeasibility of recommendations and implementation consideration<br \/>\n4. Organization and Presentation:<br \/>\nClarity of structure, quality of presentation, style and readability.<br \/>\nTitle page, Table of contents, List of abbreviations and\/or glossary,<br \/>\nExecutive summary\/abstract, Introduction, Body, Conclusion Recommendations,<br \/>\nBibliography, Appendices<br \/>\n5.
