Be sure you have completed all four parts before submitting.<\/p>\n<h5>Part 1<\/h5>\n<p>Consider a nation in which the volume of goods and services is growing by 5% per year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze the impact of the high rate of growth on the nation.\n<ul>\n<li>Explain how the high rate of growth is likely to affect the power and influence of the nation\u2019s government relative to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/homeworkhandlers.com\/other\/\">other<\/a>\u00a0nations experiencing slower rates of growth.<\/li>\n<li>Explain how the 5% growth is likely to affect the nation\u2019s living standards.\n<ul>\n<li>How does economic growth affect population growth?<\/li>\n<li>Will living standards necessarily grow by 5%, given population growth?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Part 2<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the concepts of gross investment and net investment to explain the differences between an economy that has a rising stock of capital and one that has a falling stock of capital.<\/li>\n<li>Explain how it is impossible for gross investment to be less than zero, even though net investment can be positive, negative, or zero. What real world examples can you provide?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Part 3<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze the economic discrepancies between countries.\n<ul>\n<li>Explain why some countries today are much poorer than other countries.<\/li>\n<li>Based on what you know and have learned about macroeconomic principles, are today\u2019s poorer countries destined to always be poorer than today\u2019s wealthy countries?\n<ul>\n<li>If so, explain why.<\/li>\n<li>If not, explain how today\u2019s poorer countries can catch up to or even surpass today\u2019s wealthy countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Part 4<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Explain how, in general, a financial crisis can lead to a recession.<\/li>\n<li>Explain how, in general, a major new invention can lead to an economic expansion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Organize your assessment logically with appropriate headings and subheadings. Support your work with at least 3 scholarly or professional resources and follow APA guidelines for your citations and references.
