When we establish relationships with families, it allows us to share ideas, strategies, and resources with them that will support their needs. For your assignment this week, you will write a three- to four-page paper that addresses the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discuss importance of building relationships with families.<\/li>\n<li>Explain three research-based strategies to build relationships with families. One of these strategies must be for working with families who live in poverty and be supported by the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nccp.org\/publications\/pdf\/download_117.pdf\" target=\"new\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Helping the Most Vulnerable Infants, Toddlers, and Their Families<\/a>\u201d article.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze which parenting styles these strategies will align with and provide a rationale as to why.<\/li>\n<li>Describe at least one resource, for each of the three strategies you shared, that you will use in your work with children and their families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Paper<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Assignment Length:\u00a0<\/strong>Your written paper must be at least three to four pages in length (not including title and reference pages).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Title Page:\u00a0<\/strong>Inclusion of a separate title page with the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Title of presentation<\/li>\n<li>Student\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Course name and number<\/li>\n<li>Instructor\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Date submitted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Source Requirement:<\/strong>\u00a0References three scholarly sources in addition to the text.
