It is suggested that you also review the \u00a0recommended resources for this week as a number of them may assist you \u00a0in creating this written assignment with links to applicable articles.<\/p>\n<p>Too often, when we learn about memory development, we forget that \u00a0this has a direct relationship to effectively learning. Knowledge is \u00a0essentially a memory and how well we process information affects our \u00a0performance at many levels. For this paper, you will be explaining some \u00a0of the cognitive-based ideologies that explain how memory development \u00a0works, how it is affected by outside variables, and strategies for \u00a0improving one\u2019s own information processing effectively. You will \u00a0demonstrate an understanding of psychological research methods and \u00a0skeptical inquiry by correctly utilizing support resources within your \u00a0writing.<\/p>\n<p>Discuss the following in your paper:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is memory development and how does it relate to acquiring new knowledge?<\/li>\n<li>Why is it important to successfully move information from working \u00a0(short-term) memory to long-term memory (effective information \u00a0processing)?<\/li>\n<li>What strategies can be utilized to move knowledge from working \u00a0memory to long-term memory more effectively? (List a minimum of three \u00a0strategies.)<\/li>\n<li>How much does attention and perception play a role in successful development of schema?<\/li>\n<li>How do the types of memories (knowledge) affect how we effectively process information?\n<ul>\n<li>Consider the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Semantic memories<\/li>\n<li>Episodic memories<\/li>\n<li>Autobiographical memories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>How does false memory development affect how we learn effectively?
