Even though some of these ten (10) people are distant friends, for your own sanity you will research whether they are registered on the sex offender website to make sure you want to invite them to the conference. Go to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.nj.us\/njsp\/info\/reg_sexoffend.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><u>http:\/\/www.state.nj.us\/njsp\/info\/reg_sexoffend.html\u00a0(Links to an external site.)<\/u><\/a>\u00a0to see if anyone on the list is a registered sex offender. You will need to read the introduction and click on \u201cI agree\u201d and continue to search the site by clicking on\u00a0<u>Individual Search<\/u>.\u00a0 Input each person\u2019s name.\u00a0 If you find a potential invitee, save your results as a PDF.<\/p>\n<p><u>Save the file name as<\/u>\u00a0<u>&lt;LastName.FirstName.Sex Offender Search Results&gt;<\/u><\/p>\n<p>In addition, you are also interested in seeing who is living in your neighborhood.\u00a0 Please perform a\u00a0<u>Geographic Search\u00a0<\/u>using your home address and zip code.
