Consider \u00a0the cultural, socioeconomic, and sociopolitical barriers to health. How \u00a0do race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and education influence health \u00a0for the minority group you have selected?\u00a0Address the following in your \u00a0essay:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What is the current health status of this minority group?<\/li>\n<li>How is health promotion defined by this group?<\/li>\n<li>What health disparities exist for this group?<\/li>\n<li>Describe \u00a0at least one approach using the three levels of health promotion \u00a0prevention (primary, secondary, and tertiary) that is likely to be the \u00a0most effective given the unique needs of the minority group you have \u00a0selected. Provide an explanation of why it might be the most effective \u00a0choice.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Cite a minimum of three references in the paper.<\/p>\n<p>You \u00a0will find important health information regarding minority groups by \u00a0exploring the following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) \u00a0links:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Minority Health:\u00a0http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/minorityhealth\/index.html<\/li>\n<li>Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH):\u00a0http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/chronicdisease\/resources\/publications\/aag\/reach.htm<\/li>\n<li>Racial and Ethnic Minority Populations:\u00a0http:\/\/www.samhsa.gov\/specific-populations\/racial-ethnic-minority<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Prepare \u00a0this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style \u00a0Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
