The paper needs to be written in APA format.<\/p>\n<p>For this assignment, you will be further defining your Phenomenon of \u00a0Interest within a theoretical and ethical framework. \u00a0The same \u00a0Phenomenon of Interest (POI) identified in your first written paper \u00a0should also be used for this assignment. \u00a0You will begin this paper by \u00a0providing a concise description of your POI, this information should be a \u00a0short summary of information your presented in your first paper.<br \/>\nNext, you will \u00a0discuss the Fawcett\u2019s Meta-paradigm of Nursing and \u00a0relate the paradigm directly to your POI. How do the four concepts \u00a0within the meta-paradigm relate to your POI? Is one more important? Do \u00a0all four have the same level of importance? \u00a0You should support this \u00a0section with peer reviewed references as appropriate. \u00a0Specifically \u00a0identify the components of the meta-paradigm within your discussion. Be \u00a0sure to reference the meta-paradigm with the primary source.<br \/>\nThen, you will select both a Grand nursing theory as well as a Middle \u00a0range nursing theory. \u00a0Take time to review several examples of each type \u00a0of theory as the selected theories need to \u201cfit\u201d your POI\u2026and work \u00a0well together.<br \/>\nGrand \u00a0nursing theory discussion: \u00a0identify and discuss the \u00a0inter-related concepts from your selected theory. \u00a0What aspects of the \u00a0nursing meta-paradigm are addressed by your grand theory? \u00a0Then provide \u00a0information about how you will view your POI through the lens of the \u00a0grand theory. \u00a0How does the theory guide your assessment of the POI? \u00a0\u00a0How does the theoretical framework chosen categorize or define your POI? \u00a0How does the theoretical framework effect your perception of the POI?<br \/>\nMiddle range nursing theory discussion: identify and discuss the \u00a0inter-related concepts within the middle range theory. \u00a0What aspects of \u00a0the nursing meta-paradigm are addressed in the mid-range theory? How \u00a0will this theory guide your assessment\/perception of the POI? \u00a0How does \u00a0this mid range theory relate to your grand theory?<br \/>\nComplexity science: how does complexity science relate to your POI? \u00a0\u00a0Depending on the nature of your POI, this conversation may have \u00a0different foci for different students. \u00a0For example, if your POI is \u00a0glycemic management of the peri-operative patient, this discussion would \u00a0center on the complex responses of the human body as a Complex Adaptive \u00a0System. \u00a0If your POI is focused on a policy change issue, the focus may \u00a0be on organizational complexities with communication, change, etc. \u00a0Identify a specific Complex Adaptive System that is related to your \u00a0chosen POI and discuss how complexity science impacts this portion of \u00a0your POI.<br \/>\nEthical framework: \u00a0you should discuss your specific POI in the context \u00a0of ethical principles. \u00a0Basic principles include autonomy, justice, \u00a0beneficence, and non-maleficence.
