The QI \u00a0initiative you choose to analyze should be related to a specific \u00a0disease, condition, or public health issue of personal or professional \u00a0interest to you. The purpose of the report is to assess whether specific \u00a0quality indicators point to improved patient safety, quality of care, \u00a0cost and efficiency goals, and other desired metrics.<br \/>\nYour target audience consists of nurses and other health \u00a0professionals with specializations or interest in your selected \u00a0condition, disease, or issue. In your report, you will define the \u00a0disease, analyze how the condition is managed, identify the core \u00a0performance measurements used to treat or manage the condition, and \u00a0evaluate the impact of the quality indicators on the health care \u00a0facility:<br \/>\nNote: Remember, you can submit all, or a portion \u00a0of, your draft to Smarthinking for feedback, before you submit the final \u00a0version of your analysis for this assessment. Detail problems that were not addressed and any issues \u00a0that arose from the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Evaluate the success of a current quality improvement initiative through recognized benchmarks and outcome measures.<\/p>\n<p>Analyze the benchmarks that were used to evaluate success. \u00a0Detail what was the most successful, as well as what outcome measures \u00a0are missing or could be added.<\/p>\n<p>Incorporate interprofessional perspectives related to initiative functionality and outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Integrate the perspectives of interprofessional team members \u00a0involved in the initiative.
