We live in Florida so my Hospital for the paper I call it the Miami Hospital. We are affected by hurricanes, so the paper needs to incorporate that.The paper needs to be a Natural Disaster Action Plan policy and procedure.
Review the disaster plan from your facility and at least 3 other sources. Using the information that you have collected throughout this course, create your own disaster plan. In your plan, identify the type of disaster plan you’re creating: pandemic flu, bio-terrorism, industrial disaster or natural disaster.

• Staff requirements
• How you would inform the public and staff,
• Number of ventilators you can accommodate,
• Types of patients you can accommodate (PEDS, adults, neonates),
• What if you needed to evacuate? Where and how would you do that for both patients and staff?
• Post-disaster plan and how you would implement your plan.
• If you choose an infectious agent, how are you going to address the next wave?
