Explain some of the factors that account for individuals’ changing definitions and interpretations of virginity loss.  Justify your claims.

Intersexed Children
Why are intersexed children treated medically?  Explain the consequences for the child and for society as a whole. Explain some of the consequences for other people who perhaps do not fit neatly into the female/male dichotomy.  Justify your claims.

The Heterosexual Imperative
Define the heterosexual imperative.  Explain how this imperative reinforces control over women’s sexuality and marriage practices in both Arab and Western countries. How can a solution be applied in this situation?

Sexual Identification
Explain how the concepts of “border” and “boundary” inform sexual identification and labels.

Respond to the questions in the order that they appear.  Answer all four questions and submit as one document. Please be sure to label each essay appropriately.

Your response should be approximately 5 – 8 pages in length (not including title and reference pages).  Include at least two scholarly sources to support your material.  You must support your position using appropriate sources that are properly cited.  Format your paper according to APA6th edition standards.  Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spacing, and one inch margins.
