Fatima, graduated from a graduate school, got a job in a pharmaceutical company as a midlevel manager for marketing. She’s consistently making her required performance. She thinks she has built successful relationships with colleagues and senior management. But she isn’t satisfied in her job. She’d be interested in using new marketing tools, including social media and big data analytics. And she hopes the whole company is more active in every aspect. With regards to the compensation, it’s not a serious problem while she sometimes envies her friends for their higher salaries. Fatima wanted to quit the company and find something that better suits her passion and to learn new things. But, this wasn’t a realistic option.
Robert, Fatima’s superior, has several concerns about her. Contrary to her perception, there are different attitudes against her among her colleagues. Some are very positive while other are very negative. And her suggestions sometimes too radical from Robert’s point of view.
