Intercultural Report
You are tasked with writing an Intercultural Report meant to compare and contrast 2 nations with a view to help a businessperson from Country A (country of origin) work for a significant period of time in country B, a country located on another continent The overall aim of the report is to provide him/ her with the kind of information that will make adjusting and adapting in country B in a far smoother experience.
In said 12 page (+ annexes) report you need to include the following elements
1. Culture shock phenomenon.
2. Cultural strands (focus on three strands: religion, history and another strand of your choice)
> 3) Cultural dimensions (15): Index scale + Commentary
Take time to explain how you reached a certain index on the 0 to a 100 scale for those dimensions which have not been indexed (yet).
4. Expat Insider Ranking (2019)
5. Metaphor (country A and B: official + proposal)/Proverbs and Sayings.
6. Business practices (decision-making processes, meetings negotiation practices,,.)
7. Concluding remarks and practical advice
8. Annex: Interview transcription.
Note that the cover page should be composed of 12 to 15 mosaic-like images, representing typical and/ or unique aspects/ symbols/ cultural artifacts/ cultural strands/ tourism sites etc. of the culture of the destination country refer to the cultural strands to help you select the pictures).
