Try to find what interests you the most in economics. Economics interacts with many different subjects such as philosophy, sociology, history, political science, digital technologies, cyber-security, agriculture, etc. So, it would be easy to find a topic that would grab your interest. You could define your topic as a focused economic research question. For example, the topic could be “Bitcoin. Is It the Next Big Bubble?” Your topics should be a recent business news item or current product event production/design or companies merges and acquisitions or business tax policies or other debates related to microeconomics. You should use several types of sources for your information. You might also present charts of supporting data and/or find a journal articles or website(s) that provide additional supporting information.
