Assignments are designed to be self-reflective and to provide students with insight into their own cultural beliefs and to assist the students with bridging cultures and developing cultural competence.

– In a 3-5-page paper (no more than 5 pages)

-identify a current/contemporary cultural issue and evaluate their response to the issue based on their personal belief systems, ideologies, and biases.

-Then evaluate the issue and gauge their ability to impartially conduct a client evaluation or to engage with and/or work with that client given personal belief systems.
