Choose an early education topic that you are interested in learning more about and observing at your field site.

B. Development:
a. Choose an early education topic that you are interested in learning more about and observing at your field site.
b. Next, observe the topic at your field site and document your findings. You will then
identify one or more observational techniques to observe your topic.
c. After observing, you will write a 2-3 page summary of what you observed. Make sure to
include the following:
i. Share the topic you chose and why you chose it.
ii. Provide some background information about your topic, such as information from
a textbook or a research-based article.
iii. Describe who or what you’ll be observing.
iv. Share the observation technique(s) you’ve decided to use and why you chose
the technique(s). Include dates, times and durations.
v. Share a summary of the information you gathered from your observation.
vi. Share recommendations for change/improvement.
1. Share your assessment of the data.
2. Based off your assessment, share your recommendations for
change/improvements.
3. Justify your recommendations with developmental theories and
research-based practices. (Include citations).classroom management in early childhood preschool.
